Important Travel Update: Is Your ID Ready for Takeoff?

While The Next Chapter Travel’s luxury journeys take us to international destinations, I want to ensure you're prepared for all your travel adventures. Starting May 7th, 2025, domestic flights within the United States will require either a passport or a Real ID-compliant driver's license for boarding.

Wondering if your driver’s license makes the grade? Take a peek at the top corner—if you spot a star, you're all set for your next adventure! If not, here's your pre-travel checklist for visiting your local DMV:

  • Your passport or birth certificate

  • Your social security number (no need to bring the card!)

  • Two proof-of-residency documents (think utility bills, lease, or mortgage statements)

  • Proof of name change documents if your name differs on any of your identification

Here's a time-saving tip: many states allow you to start your Real ID application online before heading to the DMV. This can streamline your in-person visit and get you one step closer to your next adventure!

At The Next Chapter Travel, we're all about smooth journeys and wonderful memories. Getting your Real ID squared away early means one less thing to think about when your next adventure calls! For a complete list of requirements and to start your application, be sure to check your state's DMV website.
