Your detailed itinerary:

  • Arrive Dublin

    Luxury transport to stunning Adare Manor, a 19th century Neo-Gothic castle in Co. Limerick. Take a walk or ride a bike through the parklands and gardens of this estate. Or, ease into your vacation with a dip in the indoor pool followed by a luxurious massage. Tonight, we will enjoy a private welcome dinner at Adare Manor’s The Carriage House with a special guest visit.

    After breakfast, we will enjoy a horse-and-carriage ride around the 840-acre grounds, hearing engaging tales of Adare’s long history, and stopping for plenty of photo ops. Have lunch on property and take advantage of all that Adare Manor has to offer including golf, falconry, horseback riding, afternoon tea, and the spa–to name a few of the options. Or, visit the quaint heritage town of Adare, for a leisurely lunch followed by an afternoon of shopping and strolling the streets of thatched-roof cottages. This evening our taste buds are in for a treat as we savor the masterfully-prepared tasting menu at Adare Manor’s Michelin-starred Oak Room.

  • The Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Doolin

    After breakfast, we'll take a trip through the prehistoric-looking, limestone-covered Burren National Park on our way to see the breath-taking Cliffs of Moher. Here, we will enjoy the spectacular vistas with a walk along the cliffs or a bird’s eye view from the heights of O’Brien’s Tower. Don’t forget to visit the award-winning visitor’s center, tucked into the side of a mountain and charmingly reminiscent of Froddo Baggins’s House in Lord of the Rings. From there, we’ll head to Doolin for a delicious pub lunch accompanied by traditional Irish music. This evening, guests have a choice of eating on property or in Adare, which offers everything from Michelin Guide restaurants to a more casual pub experience.

  • Killarney

    Today, we’ll make the short drive to the historic and charming town of Killarney, where we’ll explore, shop, and have lunch. Afterward, we’ll visit the 15th-century Ross Castle before checking into the spectacular Relais & Chateau Kenmare Park Hotel. In the evening, we’ll toast our trip with a pre-dinner glass of bubbly from renowned houses at The Champagne Bar before moving on to the Kenmare Park dining room to enjoy a feast of local cuisine.

  • Kenmare

    Today is at your leisure. Enjoy a guided hill walk through the nearby mountains; take a morning yoga class and relax in the famous Samas spa; walk over Cromwell’s Bridge into the quaint village of Kenmare for lunch, visiting the Kenmare stone circle on the way. Relax in the drawing room with a good read followed by a candlelight meditation. A sumptuous afternoon tea will be offered at nearby Sheen Falls Lodge, another luxury Relais & Chateau property situated along a peaceful waterfall.This evening, guests can dine on property, try Michelin Guide restaurants in Kenmare, or opt for something more casual.

  • Blarney Woolen Mills, Jameson Distillery, Cork

    Today, we will leave Kenmare and head to the charming city of Cork. On the way, we will stop at Blarney Woolen Mill for a casual lunch followed by some of the best shopping in Ireland. Shops here sell Aran sweaters, Celtic jewelry, Irish tweed, pottery, linen & lace, Waterford crystal and more. After our fill of shopping we will head to Jameson Midleton Distillery in the afternoon for a proper Irish whiskey tasting. We will end our day at Hayfield Manor, a luxury country retreat in the vibrant city of Cork. Dinner this evening is on property in Orchid’s, one of Cork’s finest restaurants serving contemporary Irish cuisine.

  • The English Market, Blarney Castle & Gardens, Cork

    This morning is at your leisure. Bring your appetite and visit Cork’s iconic English Market, one of the oldest and best covered markets in Europe, pay a visit to St. Fin Barre’s Cathedral, or stroll and shop through the charming streets of Cork. In the afternoon, we make the short drive to Blarney Castle and Gardens, where we will meet our guide to show us around this 15th century castle and its grounds. We will have the opportunity to kiss the infamous stone and, as legend has it, receive the gift of the gab. Guests have the option to eat on property this evening, or choose from one of the many restaurants in Cork. If you’re up for an evening of some toe-tapping traditional Irish music, there will be plenty of opportunities in this spirited city.

  • The Rock of Cashel, The Irish National Stud & Gardens, Dublin

    Today we’ll make our way to Ireland’s capital city, Dublin. On the way, we will stop at the mystical Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick’s Rock. There we will learn the history and feel the magic of this 1,000 year old sacred site, which has served as a monastery and fortress, and was the central seat of power in Ireland for several hundred years. After lunch in Cashel, we’ll rendezvous with our guide at The Irish National Stud & Gardens in Co. Kildare, where we will meet some of Ireland’s most famous racehorses and stroll through the magnificent Japanese Gardens that were laid out to “represent the life of man”. Finally, we’ll arrive in Dublin, and check into the stylish and elegant Shelbourne Hotel in time to head out to dinner, and experience one of many and varied cuisines this cultural capital has to offer.

  • The Book of Kells & Trinity Library, Guinness Storehouse, Dublin

    This morning’s city tour will take us to Trinity College to meet our tour guide and see the Trinity Library and the Book of Kells illuminated manuscript. After lunch in one of the many infamous Dublin pubs, join us at the Guinness Storehouse and learn how to pour the perfect pint. Tonight, we celebrate our adventure over a farewell dinner.
